Hebrew And RTL

Manim Studio includes helpers for Hebrew text and short right-aligned text stacks.

Fonts

The supported runtime installs DejaVu and Noto Hebrew fonts. Verify font availability with:

studio doctor

Hebrew text should use hebrew_text or an explicit Hebrew-capable font.

Hebrew Text

from manim_kit import DEFAULT_THEME, hebrew_text

RTL Write

Use RTLWrite when Hebrew text should be revealed from right to left while keeping Manim's Write drawing style:

self.play(RTLWrite(title))

RTLWrite orders the reveal visually, top-to-bottom by row and right-to-left within each row. It is intended for compact Hebrew and RTL text, not full bidirectional document layout.

RTL Columns

Use rtl_column for short right-aligned Hebrew text stacks:

The helper is intended for compact teaching labels and explanatory text, not for full document layout.
